April 2007……RES won the United Utilities PLC Framework contract for repair of all rotating equipment. This is the 3 rd AMP period RES has been successful in retaining the contract

April 2007……RES successful in renewing the Repair Framework contract for Pumps & Motors with Kelda Water PLC. RES have been a service provider to Dwr Cymru Welsh Water for over 27 years.

July 2007….. RES acquired two motor rewind companies H A Kidd Electrical Engineers Ltd & Woods Electromech. In November the two companies merged into one purpose built modern facility with 10 tonne lifting capacity throughout the service centre plus a 3.3 Kv test facility and machine shop.

August 2007…. Thames Water awarded RES the framework contract for maintenance of Pumps, Motors & Gearboxes for the whole of the Thames Region.

February 2008…. Saw the acquisition of Metal Disintigration Services Ltd who’s head office is based in Scotland. MDS operates world wide and is a specialist in providing spark erosion machines and on site service.

March 2008…. We welcome Darren Costello who joins as a sales engineer. Darren comes to us from messrs Grundfos Pumps.
